This one-night-only event brings together two acclaimed chefs, Yurii Kovryzhenko and Alena Solodovichenko, for an unforgettable evening of culinary artistry and nostalgia, paired with an exquisite French wine pairing from sommelier Olena Pavlenko.

A Unique Culinary Reunion
Yurii and Alena’s story begins in their childhood, where they attended the same school in Kyiv, Ukraine. Life took them on separate journeys—both achieving remarkable careers in the culinary world—until they reunited in Dubai to share their memories through food. Their friendship and shared heritage inspire a menu that reimagines the comforting flavors of their youth in a refined, modern form.

Meet the Chef
An internationally recognized chef with 17 years of experience in hospitality, Alena has earned a mention in the Michelin Guide, highlighting her exceptional culinary expertise. She has opened more than 35 restaurants across the CIS and UAE, authored two cookbooks, and won the GQ “Super Woman” award in the gastronomy category.

An Evening of Nostalgia
The chefs’ carefully curated menu takes guests on a journey through their childhood memories, with dishes inspired by classic Ukrainian cuisine reinvented with contemporary flair. The 6-course menu will include:

  Crispy waffle with herring mousse, pickled onions and caviar

  Beetroot flowers with goat cream cheese, walnut & honey

  Crab salad with corn ribs, homemade mayonnaise and crispy rice

  Green borsch with sorrel & marinated quail egg

  Cheese Julienne with chanterelles & crayfish

  Beef Cheek with Baked Jerusalem Artichoke and Blackcurrant Gravy / Potato Dumplings with Truffle Espuma

  Cherry House Cake

Wine Pairing by My Cheers Club
To complement the evening, sommelier Olena Pavlenko, founder of My Cheers Club, will present an exclusive selection of French wines. Known for her expertise in high-end handmade glassware and wine marketing, Olena will guide guests through a pairing experience that elevates the flavors of the evening’s menu.
